Nick US8AR released another version 1.23 of your KSTChat program (to download again here). The new version has a redesigned user interface and allows you to change your own locator online, so the function “I am away (I am away)” resp. “I'm on chat (I am on the chat)”, which was missing in the previous version. The author also dispensed with user interface translations, but the latest version offers a manual in Czech (and in several other languages), which can be opened directly from the program's HELP. Sound announcement of new message and display of user's photo (from QRZCQ.com) are switchable. Noteworthy, that the program opens a separate tab for each conversation (Tab).

The program does not install, just extract the ZIP to a suitable directory (e.g. C:\KSTCHAT) and run. After filling in the details (brand and password) the program will automatically log in to the chat in the room when it is started for the first time (room) 50/70 MHz. Other rooms can be selected from the menu. The next time you log in, you are switched to the last selected room. The program automatically switches the keyboard to EN (English), you need to get used to it.

    laa, Joseph!

Hopefully, over time, support for displaying APs like wtKST will be developed. I consider that a great advantage – i see, that in a few minutes there will be a chance for such a QSO, so I call the given station.
