For a long time now, I have been registering intensive continuous interference on KV in the range 2-11 MHz, which manifests itself every approximately 23kHz in the specified power range 59+20 dB. At first, I suspected that Telekom had enormously increased the intensity of the Internet VDSL2 signal, as our apartment building is at the limit of availability from their switchboard and ordinary wires, which Telekom proudly refers to as “ranger”, they started behaving like an out of tune LW type antenna here in a three story house, originally intended for ordinary telephones.

I picked up a Sony KV RX tuned to 3760 AM and went through the house and found that the intensity at the entrance to the house is obviously lower than on the top floor. At the same time, I scanned the wi-fi networks in the house and, strangely enough, the intensity curve also coincided with the KV measurement. Telekom_546636 wi-fi was particularly strong, practically along the entire staircase from the bottom to the top. I was shocked that the maximum intensity of this 2.4 GHz signal was when I approached the power stations with my mobile. divorce!

So the suspicion falls on powerline network adapters, which someone in my neighborhood in the house uses to spread the Internet in the apartment. I read on the Internet that such adapters plugged into the 230V sockets of the apartment use the IEEE protocol 1901, for example StandartPlug AV2 and modulate all three wires in the range of 2-30MHz and today maybe even higher and if someone used some cheap but powerful adapter, the originator would be in the world.

I don't want to burden the anti-jamming service with this problem yet, because I don't want to complicate relations with my neighbors or turn off circuit breakers, but first clarify the origin of the problem, that's why I'm putting this topic on hold. If someone more knowledgeable could comment on that, I would welcome it. So thank you in advance.

Well, I gradually turned off the circuit breakers, including mine, but the disturbance did not stop. If I went outside the house, so the interference did not appear on the display. After entering the house, it appeared again with a maximum when I brought the temporary mini MLA antenna closer to the power el. or by telephone distribution on the staircase of the house. So I would rather welcome if someone controls the latest technologies for data-internet transmission over unprotected wire distributions and can allow me to visualize this transmission on the display of some sdr radio.

    Hi Joseph,

I had problems with other TV interference due to the protective pin. My earth was carried through the UPC cables and a loop was made through the protection pin. For larger purchases , for example, draining my washing machine, the image flashed and a growl could be heard. The same probably manifested even if some neighbors, e.g. they also did laundry. Unfortunately, the solution was to disconnect the protective pin, since it was the fastest. I did not find a separate F connector anywhere. As for Powerline adapters, I had no problem with that, only when there was no good contact somewhere along the route, that's how it turned out. Now I have a cable just to be sure.

Well, every post should end with some instructive conclusion. So I'll give it a try (smile).

Since tripping the circuit breakers did not lead to the desired success, i tried it by interviewing according to my focus, with a candidate for the origin of the problem, which I ended with the sentence that we are neither professionally nor legally competent enough to find out the source of the interference, so I turn to TÚ, the anti-jamming service department, which has the knowledge and appropriate equipment and powers to do so (because he permanently refuses entry to the apartment to anyone) to determine the source of the interference. And wonder the world, after two weeks the interference disappeared. It is necessary to say what preceded it, that he seems to be turning off this and that which he always informed me on the phone and thereby wanted to give the impression that he was not the originator. That's why I rejected this circus as useless theater, as this gentleman is knowledgeable in IT with relevant education and decent IQ, so there was no point in continuing. Even turning off the circuit breaker made no sense, as everyone who works in this field knows what the UPS is for. Considering the large number of GSM antennas on the balcony of his apartment with a view of the city, I can only assume that he started providing services unknown to me in the field of VDSL Internet and to achieve the maximum data transfer speed, due to the fact that we are on the periphery of the reach of the fixed internet provider, probably included in the output “mighty” a modem or some kind of amplifier, and in this way our poor socialist door wiring in the house started to behave like an antenna, which I paid for. The intensity measurement led me to this conclusion, which was maximum at his apartment and minimum at exit “ranger” from home. But I wouldn't put my hand in the fire for such a claim, so please take it as just one of a thousand possibilities. The main thing is that it's calm and I hope it stays that way. Perhaps just a piece of advice at the end. If someone is going to implement or revitalize the telecommunication distribution in the house, I recommend implementing them in a shielded design with a defined impedance, including electricity. porters, bells, even if it comes out more expensive. It's worth it.
