Quadrants 2022
A meteor shower is waiting for us at the beginning of the year Quadrants. They are currently peaking Ursidy (17.-26.December with a maximum of December 22-23 2021), but the Quadrantids are among the much more active swarms. ZHR should achieve 120 (45 to 200). The swarm consists mainly of of larger particles moving at speed 41,5 km/s. Predicted maximum Quadrantid for the year 2022 is on 3.-4.January.
