3B6 expedition to the Agalega Islands

A group of Polish operators is preparing an expedition to 3B6 - Agalega islands in the Indian Ocean between March 22 and April 2 2007. Team members already have the formalities in place (3B6/SP9MRO a 3B6/SP9PT plus SP3IQ, SP9BQJ, SP5BFX, YL - SP9SX, SP9-31029 and YL Basia).

The plan is to make at least 40,000 connections to CW, SSB and RTTY on HF bands. Due to the change in permitting conditions, they had to abandon the planned 6m band.

However, the budget of EUR 70,000 does not yet cover the costs and the team is looking for more sponsors. Learn more at http://3b6.goDX.eu
