Race was traditionally held on Easter Monday. Propagation conditions were very unfavorable on this day with a lot of atmospheric interference, but even so 26 stations from Europe and Asia participated in the race. Only 4 Slovak stations participated in the race. It's really a shame when only such a small number of Slovak stations represent their nation in this only international competition organized by the national radio amateur organization.

Although it is a short but relatively demanding race that requires concentration and operational initiative, only excellent operators and so-called "knob operators" have little hope of success. I can't understand how the vast majority of amateurs go to a big 24/48 hour race to rank 20-70 in a field of thousands of faceless unknown participants pressing buttons on computers. In this race of ours, good operators can place themselves at the top. Here, however, you need to use your mind a little, show operational skill, competitive ferocity and the determination to sacrifice time and comfort. Another 10 stations appeared in the contest logs, but did not send logs. This is how the representation of Slovakia and the national organization looks like.

Logs that desperately tried to stitch the race onto some computer program still arrive in a pitiful state. Don't forget that when you program stupidity into a computer program, it will eventually "spit out" stupidity. We have to redo most of these logs and fixing after raping computers for 10-60 connections is a waste of time. It is best to use the forms for the diary and the results list, which you can order from the radio club OM3KFV or "download" from "ham radio.sk" or "CQ sk". Don't forget that stations that did not actively participate in the race are also valid, i.e. even regular ones QSO.
They will hear in the next race Spring Sprint on Easter Monday 2008.
