I can't see it well, but it looks like it's protected by nulling?

Used protection against electric shock: isolating live parts, covering, automatic disconnection of power, bridging, protective measure of low voltage.

But I don't have the possibility to place it on top of Kamzík so that no one can reach it.

It's not on Kamzík and it's made so that even an IT person without a paper can stick their hand in it.

The funny thing is that some power supplies intended for powering the trx hum, and mine doesn't.

In the case of a switched power supply, possible problems: ground loop, use of a power supply intended for TN-S in a TN-C distribution (connection - and PE), poor design of equipotential bonding and connections of devices...

I don't really like that solution in the box, but still no one has said how to cleverly cover those contacts, and probably no one will.

If someone advises you and something happens, they will be an accomplice; such work without min 508/09 Z.z. par. 21 is done at your own risk, that there was something regarding safety at the exams for our hobby does not replace par. >21. Not to mention the experiences with you, someone advises something, you make a summary of what suits you or bend it according to yourself 😉 You need to make a cover for live parts optimally with >IP3x but in such a way that cooling is preserved as the manufacturer of the source assumes. Some piece of sheet metal as a base, to which the source is screwed with screws.the attached suitable cover (sheet metal can be shaped) above the terminals of the source is the optimal way 😉

      Some basics: http://www.els.webzdarma.cz/ochrana.html

I recommend acquiring 'Electrical Qualification for Electricians' by Ján Meravý; it is a humanly presented summary of standards, practical examples, and images for understanding. A handy 'bible' for electricians and a recommended study material before exams.

Otherwise, you have the school for that; you can do paragraph 21 for up to 50€ with the course after reading and understanding the recommended literature 😉

Hi Norka, I have told you several times that being an amateur on the internet should only be done in advanced matters. You need to acquire those basics somewhere in a club or in a circle of friends where you will attend irregularly or regularly, depending on interest or need. If you find a good group, you will look forward to the meetings.
Amateurs from all over Bratislava come to our Petržalka meetings. Amateurs also show up from outside Bratislava. There was OM4MX from Prievidza, OM3CAQ and OM1TI from Bernolákovo, OM3THX from Bánovce nad Bebravou regularly attends, and of course, the boys from Nitra OM5LD and OM3TBG, OM1ARW from Topolčany, and many others. About a month ago, we had a visit from the Czech Republic.
So feel free to come, no one will rip your ears off.

(Well, if I cover it with a sheet metal and accidentally the phase conductor (it's under the screw) gets loose and touches the sheet metal, who will take responsibility for any death in the family.

Noro, definitely you. If you don't have it, and apparently you don't, then don't mess with it, buy a ready-approved source!!! You can't save on everything.

That's exactly why I'm responsible, so I put it in a plastic box.

I don't save on everything, I've invested a lot of money in AliExpress for my standards.

Well, if the source is constructed correctly, every accessible conductive part (including the cover plate) is connected to the PE conductor. So the first touch of the released phase conductor with the 'sheet' will end with a shock and blown fuses – and no death occurs.

The solution in the form of a plastic box does not require investments in fuses.

Moreover, one can imagine a situation where the conductor falls off just at the moment of contact, in addition to the blown fuse, it may also lead to cardiac arrest.

I’m going to study first aid. Quiet, warmth, and pain relief.

I don't understand how you could have graduated from an electrical engineering university.

      1) If the source is not constructed as a device with double insulation, enclosing it in a plastic box is not a solution for electrical safety.

      2) Grounding protection must be designed so that no dangerous voltage occurs on the cover even in the event of a short circuit of any live part and the protected cover (in other words, PE must withstand it).

As for an apprentice, I don't even have knowledge at the level of a penguin from Vonnegut's grotesque. (Slapstick.)

History first repeats itself as tragedy and then as farce. (Zizek.)

P.S.: How was your holiday, Karl? For me, it was just another kind of stress. It seems the world is made of stress nowadays. I often reminisce about my quiet years at Slovak Technical University. I thought back then that you could solve everything by equations, no matter how complex.
In times of crises my doctor used to tell me: Norko, you must run, run, run. She was dead right here and I still do. But you cannot run from illiteracy and lack of education. It will backfire and finally overtake you. Yours were sent by God Himself and I must thank Him for that. Thank you, Karl.

But now that I have you here, what do you say about this radio:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-pSGWmJuKQ

I have bought and sold one like that before, and I'm considering it again as a front end for the 144/28MHz transverter. I'm worried about my uBITX. So, bye for now.

Hello Norko, this is a divine machine. If we had it 40 years ago up on the hill, we would have been ecstatic. The number 20 on the frequency 28,100 scared me a bit, but then I concluded that it might be a memory number that is not used. I don't know how it is filtered, but for about 150 pounds, there won't be much there. As they showed the presentation, I have respect for that TCVR. It also has a holder. And the microphone and power cables, that's a high standard of equipment. Otherwise, there is also a desktop microphone, and if you added a pedal to the whole device, that would bethere was coffee! Think a bit about that transverter because a quality one from Dubnica costs around 1000 €, I don't know if you would use it. But it would have the advantage that you could also access the repeaters on two meters. I didn't check the whole radio, so I don't know if it has a sub-tone.
Otherwise you could come show it to us on Tuesday at Alfy.
Take care and enjoy that TCVR.

jesuschristohmygod NORO THIS IS A CB RADIO STATION!!! 20 IS THE CHANNEL NUMBER, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO WITH THAT ON HAM BANDS??!?!?! STILL HANGING A TRANSVERTER FOR THAT??!?!?!

Jesus, guys, I don't have it, I sold it! I was just thinking again about buying it.

Ok, so I'll put uBITX before that transverter.

      And this one:

      https://qrpver.com/transceivers/qrpver_1_v_3.html

      ?

I had that one on 21MHz, but it was disturbed by the straight key, I had to make a touch key with a transistor, to which I applied twelve volts through a bracelet on my hand.

      I don't use Iambic.

om3cvv and om4tw, what om1ava refers to can be a CB station, but it can also be a 10m TRX, programmable from a PC, theoretically usable on SSB and in a 'clean band' also on CW, tuning step from 10Hz. The RX and TX parameters are of course corresponding to the price. But it’s not worth buying.

      https://www.crtfrance.com/en/mobiles-transceivers/2-ss-6900-n-3140650006469.html

As always, saving at any cost 🙂 For those losses in purchases and subsequent sales on the bazaar, there could already be an older normal HF TRX at home 😉

With the options for max. balcony antennas 10m above the ground at om1ava, it will be sufficient for him too http://transverters-store.com/kit.htm
It is functional and depending on what MF TRX and antenna it considers connecting, the transverter will not be a 'bottleneck'. With the transverter connected directly to MCHF before the 'end', it works well, although during contests the 'stupid' ft-857 has the advantage, but that also has to do with the concept of MCHF, which by principle cannot have the dynamics of a filtered double heterodyne.

Noro, if you're not in a hurry, wait for this: https://www.QRP-labs.com/qsx.html
