TRX Kenwood TS-2000 frequency range adjustment
Extending the TX and RX frequency range of the Kenwood TS-2000 transceiver consists in removing SMD resistors with a value of 0 ohms.
In my case, I had a Kenwood TS-2000 USA version and originally only two resistors were installed, according to the picture with the number R52 and R53. According to the instructions, for example also here I removed only R 53 in my case. The result was as follows:

RX main:
30 kHz - 60 MHz
142 MHz - 152 MHz
420 MHz - 450 MHz
TX main:
1705 kHz - 30 MHz, 49 MHz - 54 MHz
142 MHz - 152 MHz
420 MHz - 450 MHz
RX sub:
–
118 MHz - 174 MHz
220 MHz - 512 MHz
TX sub:
–
142 MHz - 152 MHz
420 MHz - 450 MHz
When removing the resistor with a soldering iron, I recommend caution, especially on the static. It is absolutely necessary to "ground" yourself, a conductive bracelet...etc...Otherwise it can happen that a static spark jumps between you and the printed circuit board, as if nothing happened, TRX after assembly works normally for another month, two...maybe a year and then the processor or other components sensitive to static will fail.
