On April 11, 2026, at the Drozdovo Pension area near Nová Baňa the 24th ham radio meeting will take place. This popular event has become a staple of the spring calendar for many OM and OK stations over the years.
This year's edition will also be special as it will take place without Karol OM5KP, who was for many years the 'engine' and soul of these meetings. Fortunately, the tradition continues thanks to the initiative of Jožko OM5JG, who ensured that the thread was not interrupted and the community could meet again in a friendly atmosphere.

Program and Organization
The official program will start at 8:00 AM
Parking is available free of charge and the sales spots under the shelter will also be free. The participation of well-known sellers of ham radio equipment is expected, so there will be no shortage of interesting components, measuring equipment, antennas, or 'treasures' for the workshop.
Accommodation
For those interested, accommodation is provided from Friday to Saturday directly at the pension.

Refreshments and Accompanying Program
Good mood and full stomachs will be taken care of. In addition to traditional goulash, other delicacies will also be available. The meeting in Drozdovo is known not only for exchanging experiences and technology but also for the excellent atmosphere at the communal table.
Hikers can take advantage of the beautiful environment of the mountains Veľký Inovec and take a trip to the local lodge, where refreshments are also available. The combination of nature, technology, and friendly conversations creates a unique mix that is hard to find elsewhere.
Transportation to the place
🔹 From Nová Baňa towards Veľká Lehota – before the village, turn left, after about 2 km on the new asphalt road you will be at the place.
🔹 From Zlaté Moravce or Skýcov towards Nová Baňa – after Veľká Lehota, turn right, after 2 km you will arrive at the site.
