In memory of František Dušek, a good person and excellent radio amateur, OK1WC is hosting this race.

Race rules

Date: First Saturday in April, (4/4/2009, 3/4/2010, 2/4/2011, 7/4/2012…) in two stages:
1. stage: from 07:00 do 07:59 UTC (09:00 do 09:59 SELČ)
2. stage: from 08:00 do 08:59 UTC (10:00 do 10:59 SELČ]

Bands: 3,5 a 7 MHz (CW 3520 to 3560 kHz, 7010-7035 kHz, SSB 3700-3770 kHz, 7080-7200 kHz)

Type of operation: CW, MIXED (CW+SSB)

Operator:
SINGLE ON MULTI ON – MULTI TX (a station may transmit any number of signals at the same time)

Performance: HIGH (power over 100W), LOW (power to 100 W), QRP (power to 5 W) Transmitter: Donovaly, MULTI (only in the MULTI OP category – MULTI TX), SWL

DX cluster: The use of DX cluster is allowed in all categories. Band to band transitions are not limited.
Code: RS(T) + starting serial number of the connection 001, connections are numbered in each stage separately or continuously in both stages according to the operator's choice. Multipliers: Last letter of counter station suffix (e.g. OK1NE applies as E or OK5E/M also applies as E). Multipliers are calculated on each band in each stage for each type of traffic separately.

Body: 1 Single operator QRP 1 that.
Connections are calculated on each band in each stage for each type of traffic separately.

A connection to the same station can be established on each band in each stage once by each type of traffic. I.e, that in the CW category you can connect with one station during the race up to 4 competitive connection, in the MIXED category up to 8 competitive connections.

Result: Total points, achieved in both stages is multiplied by the sum of the multipliers from both stages.

SWL: Listeners can count each station on each band in each leg with each type of traffic only once. For each duly recorded QSO (date, UTC, zone, station sign, sent competition code and mark of the opposite station) on each band is counted 1 that. The multiplier is the last letter of the intercepted station's suffix. Points and multipliers are calculated analogously, as with broadcasting stations, the overall result is also calculated in the same way.

Reporting
Race participant, who wishes to be evaluated, will send by the deadline 14 days after the end of the reporting race. The report is sent using an interactive form on the http website://www.hamradio.cz/ok1wc/, by email or post to the organizer's address. By sending the report, the participant declares on his honor, that they agree to these contest rules, that he followed them during the race, that he complied with the applicable regulations for the operation of his amateur station during the race, that he has followed the principles of ham spirit and that he will accept the organizer's decision in the event of a dispute.

The report contains:
– Race date (the year is enough)
– Station mark used in the race
– Own address – e-mail or phone to resolve ambiguities
– A continuous table of annual evaluation will be added to the result list. Without providing a mailing address, the station cannot send any diploma for placement in the race.
– Determination of the plant (SINGLE/MULTI; CW/MIXED; LOW/QRP/SWL). If any information is not provided, the organizer will supplement it with relevant data from the series: MULTI; MIXED; HIGH/SWL.
– The number of points for each stage separately and the sum of points for both stages.
– The number of multipliers for each stage separately and the sum of the multipliers for both stages.
– Final result (total points, multiplied by the sum of the multipliers – points and multipliers from both bands are added for both stages and for all types of traffic)
– The report may contain a note in the range of up to 50 characters, which briefly characterizes the equipment used, possibly the operator [YL, junior, senior (age)]. Furthermore, a soapbox in the range of up to can be attached to the report 2000 characters, which may contain any comments about the race.

Station, who states their e-mail address in the report will receive the number of reported points and multipliers to this address for checking.

Diaries
Each participant of the race can publish his diary on the website http://www.hamradio.cz/ok1wc/ (link Diaries – upload). Diaries will be made available to other race participants only after the deadline for receiving reports. The displayed journal must be in text format (*.TXT – plain text) or in PDF format, file must not be longer than 50 kB. It is recommended to use the Cabrillo format.

Results
The list of received reports is continuously published on the website http://www.hamradio.cz/ok1wc/. The achieved preliminary results will be displayed only after receiving reports. Preliminary results are published on this website after the submissions are closed. At the time of 1 months after the end of the race, it is possible to notify the organizer of requests for the correction of errors. After processing the report, the organizer can no later than 14 days after the end of the round, to request the sending of the diary, both at the stations, which will be placed in the first three places in each category and in all other cases, when deemed necessary. Electronic submission of the journal is preferred. The diary is sent in text format (*.TXT – plain text), preferably in Cabrillo format. For sending the diary electronically, upload is available on the website http://www.hamradio.cz/ok1wc/ or the diary can be sent by e-mail or post to the organizer's address. If the organizer does not receive the requested diary by 14 days from the date of its request, the station may be disqualified. The requested log must contain this information: date, UTC, zone, counter station sign, transmitted code, received code and new multiplier. Duplicate connections must be marked. Listeners write down the date, UTC, zone, brand of the station being listened to, sent code, counter station mark, body, new multiplier. Connections are sorted chronologically regardless of band.
