OM25ISS A day in space
Radioclubs OM3VSZ and OM3RLL in cooperation with the University of Prešov cordially invite you to a scientific and popularization event Day in space, that will take place next Saturday 25th January 2025 from 12:00 do 17:00.
The program will include engaging lectures on the theme of space, The main peak will be radio contact with the crew of the International Space Station (ISS). This is historically the first educational contact with ISS in the Slovak Republic.
This unique moment mediates Sunita Williams (KD5PLB), The only woman in the current ISS crew. Sunita is a former military pilot and astronaut NASA since year 1998. Contact will be made with primary and secondary school students from the Prešovský and Košice regions, as well as with university students.
