Record connection to AO-7
Luciano PY5LF and Joe K3SZH moved the distance traveled via the AO-7 satellite to 7843 km. The connection was made on July 15. Theoretically, AO-7 allows to reach a connection at a distance of approximately 7900 km (the exact number depends on several parameters, e.g. the roundness of the Earth). However, it takes experience to achieve a connection over such a distance, patience, equipment and a little luck. However, the oldtimer AO-7 still works great, so why not try it too?
