Those who retuned the frequencies from 1850 kHz to 1900 kHz before the start of the activity could find two rings of DL stations and the station UR5SH, which gave reports and spoke in Russian, on a fairly quiet band (by the way, it could be picked up without problems with a power of 5 W on LW 40 m). However, these stations were safely deterred by an unusually strong turnout in the activity. Almost from the beginning, it was a problem to find a free seat, and once again competing stations occupied relatively high frequencies.

An unusually large number of OM stations helped ensure a good turnout this time. In the second hour, a number of new brands appeared on the strip again, and some individuals even changed into club jerseys. In the last 20 minutes of activity (when OK1HSF wasn't "pulling" her), I made 47 QSOs on OK1KGR. This diversification was obviously expected by more stations, because during the activity several brands asked me if KGR would also be active this time.
The good midwave spread this time meant that some otherwise weak stations in EUL could be heard very well (OM4AMA - 59+10dB, OK1DDP - QRP, clean 59, OK1HRR - although QRPP, a nice 57). Again the best individual was Zdeněk OK2BEH with 4717 points. 13 individuals and OK2KLD exceeded the 4000 points mark in the clubhouses.

In the individual category, 65 stations reported. In the category of club and special stations, 12 stations reported and two listeners participated. 47 stations used the opportunity to submit a report immediately after the activity on the frequency 1855 kHz, 5 reports were sent by SMS, two by mail, and the rest of the stations used PR. There were 79 reports in total. I try to confirm all received reports, but it is not possible for reports sent by post.
The increase in OM stations is pleasing. I would like to thank OM5KP (and a number of others) for the evidently successful promotion of the activity in OM. Thanks to those who just give out points and make the activity more interesting.
It remains to add that I take over the CW and SSB part from Pavle. I remind you that the report can be filed immediately after activity in the vicinity of the frequency 1850–1855 kHz, using the e-mail: A160@seznam.cz
or A160M@crk.cz, by sending an SMS message to the number: 604 488 427, using PR to OK1HSF or by mail to the address: OK1HSF, Petr Machyl, Keplerova 709/24, 400 07 Ústí nad Labem.
The next SSB round of activity will take place on April 7, 2003 from 21:00 to 23:00 CET.
Thanks everyone for participating!
Petr OK1HSF
