Connections with IO NE555 are countless. There are relatively few of them in VF technology. Only five parts are needed to make a simple low-power AM transmitter that can be picked up on a radio receiver. The frequency of the multivibrator is determined by the components R1, R2 and C1. With the given values, the frequency will be around 600 kHz. The best way to change the frequency is to change R2 or C1. It is true that if we decrease the value of C1, the frequency will increase.
We require a higher voltage from the microphone, therefore a capacitor type, after modification, an electret is also suitable. The antenna consists of several meters of wire. R1 is 390 ohms, R2 1 kiloohm and C1 1 nanofarad. The supply voltage is 9V.
