Alex OM6SA sent us an article about the upcoming QPR race in two weeks time. Fingers crossed for the participants! MNI TNX Alex.
This race, or better said, days QRP activities of Slovak, Czech and British radio amateurs, organized by G-QRP-Klub especially for OM, OK and G stations. Max. TX power is 5W. In addition to the Slovak members of G-QRP-C, every OM radio amateur who is able and willing to work with low power is welcome in this race. After all, it is not a problem to reduce the power on a more powerful device down to 5W, take the output from the exciter, or at the end of the week take a soldering iron and make one or more watt TX for this race as well as other races that also have a QRP category. OM stations that take part in the race and send a diary for evaluation will even win a small participation commemorative prize.
We establish connections with all QRP stations. Call CQ QRP or CQ CZEBRIS.

G and other stations: G4MRH (137 points), G4FDC (76), GM4XQJ (40), G3ESP (40), G4GSA (38), F8UIG (36), G0DJA (28), M0ANQ (8), G8PG (log for review).
The winning G4MRH had such "weapons": Ten-Tec Argosy (5W) and a Windom antenna at a height of 7 m.
Compared to 2001, the participation in this race in 2002 was shamefully small, so I'd rather not even write about it. No OM stations. So let's spin it up a bit this year.
