HDSDR is based on older Winrad SDR The software offers a better user interface, wide compatibility, and high performance in decoding various modulations (AM, FM, USB, LSB, CW, DRM). We waited for the update for 5 years. In January of this year, version 2.81 came first and shortly after 2.81a (which only fixed the issue with DDE and OmniRig synchronization). So what does HDSDR 2.81 bring?
- Quick save function for up to 10 frequencies (ALT + number = save / CTRL + number = call)
- The color of the band markers on the frequency scale can be changed [FreqMgr]
- The manual width of the notch filter band can be changed by keyboard shortcut (Shift + N) or right-click
- Shift key inverts zoom/tuning function in waterfall/spectrum (mouse wheel)
- S-Meter values can be saved using the recording scheduler + command line
- Fixed playback AF WAV files (float)
- Support for OmniRig v1 and OmniRig v2 - optional switching feature
- Optimized BandManager / AutoBandZoom
- Reduced RBW for high input sampling frequencies (requires more CPU power!)
- Redesigned waterfall image saving (see keyboard shortcuts)
- Extended ExtIO interface (double frequency and sampling frequency, PPM...)
- SpeedDivider for RF and AF waterfall speed (see keyboard shortcuts)
- Improved Auto Band Zoom
- Fixed:
- Eibi update [FreqMgr]
- Calibration Channel Skew
- Frequency update via DDE
- Restoring the color palette at startup
- Restore mode Collapse Mode at startup
- Other improvements and fixes
