The Telecommunications Office of the Slovak Republic (TÚ SR) supported disabled citizens last year despite its modest possibilities.

TÚ SR supported the Slovak Association of the Physically Handicapped by purchasing 10 tickets for a charity concert held in the fall of 2004 in Bratislava. The tickets were paid for from the social fund of the office's employees. Employees (TÚ SR) collected and sent Sk 4,380 to a disabled lady from Štúrov based on a life story they learned about from a TV show. Mrs. Miluše Puterová from Štúrov, who ended up in a wheelchair, is not and was not an employee of the Slovak Technical University, she is an unknown person. The employees learned about her life tragedy in February 2004 from a television show. On the basis of her life story, an initiative of the employees of TÚ SR was created, the goal of which was to collect money among the employees of the office and then send it to Mrs. Puterová.
None of the mentioned supports had an impact on the state budget.
