Xtreme category in CQWW

You won't stop development, and this probably applies to the most popular amateur radio races – CQ WW conteste. In year 2009 a new Xtreme category is being introduced, whose goal is to enable the use of new technologies, including remote RX stations controlled via the Internet, computer decoders of several signals at once (e.g.. Skimmer).

In addition to enabling technologies, which no other world contest allows, is also in this category unusual scoring. It consists of two parts: points for connections (as in any other category) and points for innovativeness. The value of this part of the score is decided by the CQWW panel of judges.
