Memorial Day QSO Party
Memorial Day QSO Party (MDQP) is an activity, which provides participants with an opportunity to honor radio amateurs, who are now referred to as Silent Key (SK).
The Memorial Day QSO Party is sponsored and organized by the FOC and is open to all licensed radio amateurs: the goal is, for each participant to pay tribute to a SK. It can be a person, of which the participants have a special memory, along with her call sign and name.
The Memorial Day QSO Party begins 1. November 2024 O 09:00 UTC and ends 2. November 2024 O 08:59 UTC.

For all participants, who will send the ADIF log, diplomas will be available and awards will be given for the most QSOs made, for the participant with the second highest number of QSOs and for that, who will provide the best rated detail about the chosen Silent Key.
• Of course, this is a CW only event (the recommended CW speed is 15 to 30 WPM).
• At a minimum, each exchange data must contain an RST, QTH and operator name along with the call sign of the honored Silent Key. It is also recommended to share at least one interesting piece of information about SK. A participant can honor more than one SK, but only one SK call sign per band.
