Meteor showers d-Aquarids and Perseids
Delta Aquarids are a less significant swarm, which lasts from July 12 to August 19, with a maximum around July 29 2003 06.20 UTC +/-12 hours. Maximálny počet odrazov za hodinu je 15 – 20. The best time for connections in the SW-NE direction 23-00 UTC, in the V-Z direction 00-02 UTC a v smere JV-SZ je to 02-04 UTC. Koncom júla už cítiť vplyv Perseíd.
Perseidy sú oveľa výraznejší roj, ktorý umožňuje nadväzovať spojenia aj s malým výkonom. Ich začiatok očakávame 17.júla a koniec 24.augusta, predpokladané maximum dosiahnu 13.augusta 05.10 +/- 3 hours. The number of bounces changes every year, there are often more than 80, some years it reaches a value of 200.
Prvá zmienka o ňom sa pripisuje čínskym análom, which in the year 36 hovoria “o viac ako stovke padajúcich meteorov jedno ráno”. Určite nesklamú ani vizuálnych pozorovateľov, vždy sa postarajú o veľkolepé divadlo.
