Český radioklub (ČRK) v spolupráci so Slovenským radioklubom (SARA) vyhlasujú druhý ročník medzinárodnej súťaže OK-OM DX SSB contest 2018. This race is intended for all radio amateurs from OK (Czech Republic) and OM (Slovakia), as well as from all over the world. The goal of the competition is to encourage activity on the bands, establish as many valid connections as possible and achieve the highest possible score.

Competitive categories

Participants can apply for several categories according to performance and number of operators:
- SOAB HP – one operator, all bands, power up to 1500 W
- SOAB LP – one operator, all bands, power up to 100 W
- SOAB QRP – one operator, all bands, power up to 5 W
- SOSB – one operator, one band (160, 80, 40, 20, 15 or 10 m) divided into HP, LP and QRP
- MOST – multiple operators, one transmitter
- MO2T – more operators, two transmitters
- SWL – listeners, all bands
All bands from 1,8 do 28 MHz, s výnimkou pásiem WARC.
Each participant can participate in several categories at once - for example, all-band and simultaneously on one or more separate bands. In the case of participation in only one band, but with connections in other bands, it is necessary to send the logbook from these bands as well for checking.
Participants are divided into three groups:
- World (DX)
- Europe
- OK + OM
General rules

Všetky vysielače a prijímače musia byť umiestnené v okruhu s priemerom maximálne 500 metrov. Antennas must be connected with cable feeders.
Používanie packetu a webových clusterov is allowed in all categories. However, the use of the Internet or IP networks for remote signal reception is prohibited, which would be considered unsportsmanlike behavior and could lead to disqualification.
Self-spotting (broadcasting information about one's own station to the cluster) is disabled. It is also not allowed to arrange connections via telephone, internet or other means of communication during the race.
Stanice v kategórii MOST podliehajú pravidlu 10 minút, when it is possible to transmit only one signal per band, with the exception of connections on another band with a new multiplier.
V kategórii MO2T a maximum of two signals can be transmitted on two different bands at the same time. Each transmitter may be retuned a maximum of eight times per hour.

Competition code
- OK + OM stanice vysielajú report a district emblem (three letters).
- Zahraničné stanice they send the report and the sequence number of the connection from 001.
- In the MOST and MO2T categories, connections can be numbered separately by band or transmitter.
Scoring
For stations from OK + OM:
- Connection within own country – 2 body
- Connecting with another country on the same continent – 3 body
- Connection with another continent – 5 bodov
- Connection OK–OM – 3 body (rôzne DXCC entity)
For stations outside OK + OM:
- Connection with OK or OM – 10 bodov
- Connection within own country – 1 bod
- Connecting with another country on the same continent – 3 body
- Connection with another continent – 5 bodov
Connections with /MM stations are always valued at 5 points, but do not count as a multiplier.
Multipliers
Používajú sa two types of multipliers:
- Each district from OK and OM on each band separately
- Each country DXCC and WAE on each band separately
Celkové skóre is calculated as the product of the number of points for connections and the sum of all multipliers.
LOGs and their sending

Denníky sa prijímajú iba elektronicky vo formáte Cabrillo through the web interface at:
http://okomdx.crk.cz
- All times must be entered in UTC
- All sent and received data must be recorded in the log
- The Cabrillo header of the file must contain information about the category, e-mail and postal address of the participant
- Účastníci kategórií LP a QRP they must add a description of the device and antennas to the "comments/soapbox" field
Denníky je nutné odoslať do 14 dní po skončení preteku. After successful delivery, the participant will receive an e-mail confirmation.
Diplomas and awards
- Plakety will be awarded to the winners of the basic categories if a sponsor is secured.
- Each participant will be able to download elektronický diplom vo formáte PDF pre všetky umiestnenia.
- Paper diplomas will not be sent.
