Czech Radio Club (ČRK) in cooperation with Slovak Radio Club (SARA) announce the second year of the international competition OK-OM DX SSB contest 2018. Tento pretek je určený všetkým rádioamatérom z krajín OK (Česká republika) a OM (Slovensko), ako aj z celého sveta. Cieľom súťaže je podporiť aktivitu na pásmach, nadviazať čo najviac platných spojení a dosiahnuť čo najvyššie skóre.

Date of procedure
The competition will take place every second full weekend in April. V roku 2018 to pripadá na obdobie from Saturday 14 April 12:00 UTC to Sunday 15 April 12:00 UTC, teda 24-hodinový pretek.
Competitive categories

Participants can apply for several categories according to performance and number of operators:
- SOAB HP – jeden operátor , všetky pásma, výkon do 1500 W
- SOAB LP – one operator, all bands, power up to 100 W
- SOAB QRP – one operator, all bands, power up to 5 W
- SOSB – one operator, one band (160, 80, 40, 20, 15 or 10 m) divided into HP, LP and QRP
- BRIDGE – multiple operators, one transmitter
- MO2T – more operators, two transmitters
- SWL – listeners, all bands
All bands from 1.8 to 28 MHz, s výnimkou pásiem WARC .
Each participant can participate in several categories at once - for example, all-band and simultaneously on one or more separate bands. In the case of participation in only one band, but with connections in other bands, it is necessary to send the logbook from these bands as well for checking.
Participants are divided into three groups:
- World (DX)
- Europe
- OK + OM
General rules

All transmitters and receivers must be located in a circle with a maximum diameter of 500 meters. Antény musia byť pripojené káblovými napájačmi.
Using packet and web clusters is allowed in all categories. However, the use of the Internet or IP networks for remote signal reception is prohibited, which would be considered unsportsmanlike behavior and could lead to disqualification.
Self-spotting (broadcasting information about one's own station to the cluster) is disabled. It is also not allowed to arrange connections via telephone, internet or other means of communication during the race.
Stations in the category BRIDGE are subject to the rule 10 minutes, kedy je možné vysielať len jeden signál na pásme, s výnimkou spojení na inom pásme s novým násobičom.
In the category MO2T a maximum of two signals can be transmitted on two different bands at the same time. Each transmitter may be retuned a maximum of eight times per hour.

Competition code
- OK + OM station they broadcast a report and district emblem (three letters).
- Foreign stations they send the report and the sequence number of the connection from 001.
- In the BRIDGE and MO2T categories, connections can be numbered separately by band or transmitter.
Scoring
For stations from OK + OM:
- Connection within own country – 2 points
- Connecting with another country on the same continent – 3 points
- Connection with another continent – 5 points
- Connection OK–OM – 3 points (various DXCC Entity )
For stations outside OK + OM:
- Connection with OK or OM – 10 points
- Connection within own country – 1 point
- Connecting with another country on the same continent – 3 points
- Connection with another continent – 5 points
Connections with /MM stations are always valued at 5 points, but do not count as a multiplier.
Multipliers
They are used two types of multipliers:
- Each district from OK and OM on each band separately
- Each country DXCC and WAE on each band separately
Total score is calculated as the product of the number of points for connections and the sum of all multipliers.
LOGs and their sending

Diaries are accepted only in electronic format Cabrillo through the web interface at:
http://okomdx.crk.cz
- All times must be entered in UTC
- All sent and received data must be recorded in the log
- The Cabrillo header of the file must contain information about the category, e-mail and postal address of the participant
- Category participants LP a QRP they must add a description of the device and antennas to the 'comments/soapbox' field
Logs must be sent within 14 days after the end of the race. Po úspešnom doručení dostane účastník e-mailové potvrdenie.
Diplomas and awards
- Plaques will be awarded to the winners of the basic categories if a sponsor is secured.
- Each participant will be able to download electronic diploma in PDF format for all locations.
- Paper diplomas will not be sent.

The organizers cordially invite all radio amateurs from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and abroad to participate in OK-OM DX SSB Contestu 2018. Tento pretek ponúka možnosť preveriť svoje schopnosti, zlepšiť operátorskú techniku a súťažiť s kolegami z celého sveta. Zúčastniť sa môže každý, kto má chuť vysielať, prijímať a nadväzovať nové zaujímavé spojenia.
The rules are set to ensure fair competition and motivate to the best possible performance. We wish all participants much success, good conditions on the bands and, above all, joy from amateur radio operation.
