Unofficial results of VHF Record Day 2010

The unofficial score sheet (generated by the evaluation program) is exposed to the public in order to reduce the number of errors in the subsequent official score sheet. Contestants who suspect any inaccuracy in it, or in error files, let them send their comments to the evaluator to October 10, 2010 to the address: vkvlogy@pobox.sk.

Evaluation of categories

144 MHz – Single

49 stations participated in the individual category. The best results were achieved by operators from the southern and central regions of Slovakia, where the signal propagation conditions were favorable at the time of the race.

He became the winner OM1DK from the JN87UU locator with a power of 300 W and an antenna F9FT 17 el., which he obtained 159,811 points for 466 connections. The longest connection reached was 857 km (LZ9X). He took the second place OM3TZZ with 107,725 points, followed OM5X (89,700 points).
Stations also made it to the top ten OM2RL, OM5MX, OM5LD, OM6TX, OM3WZ, OM0ADC a OM3CQF.

The average length of the connection was around 300 km, which confirms the quality level of the race. It is interesting that even low-power stations (QRP) achieved nice results – for example OM3CQF with a power of only 10 W and an F9FT antenna, it finished in 10th place.

144 MHz – Multi

V kategórii viacčlenných staníc dominovali tradičné contestové tímy.
The best result was achieved by the station OM8A from JN87WV with an impressive score 268,469 points and 715 QSO. It used a power of 3.6 kW and an antenna system of 4×14, 4×16, 8×7, 4×7 and 2×14 elements.
She finished second only with a small distance OM6A (266,202 points, 692 connections). She took third place OM3W with a gain of 158,081 points.

They were also in the top ten OM3KII, OM3RBS, OM3KMA, OM3KHU, OM3KDX, OM3I a OM3RKA.

The longest connection (ODX) was recorded by the station OM6A – 1006 km on IK1AZV/1.
It is interesting that even smaller club stations like OM3KIJ whether OM3RRC they were able to overcome the 30,000 points mark.
