The POTA project motivates radio amateurs (so-called. activators) visit these sites, where they broadcast from their portable or mobile device, and at the same time enables other radio amateurs (a hunter) establish connections from the comfort of their home stations.

What is actually the more significant difference between POTA and WWFF?
To me, the whole POTA comes across as WWFF for lazy people (10 instead of 44 connection), I don't see any other difference there…

You need it at WWFF 44 QSO and you can share them, to several “visits”. So do it today 22 you will do it tomorrow too 22 and you activate everything.

Sweat is enough 10 QSO and feels only within the framework of the visit, t.j. tomorrow you start from scratch.

At the same time, I SWEAT more “years” and there is even more interest from hunters. If you plan activation on the POTA site in advance, it is likely that you will have more locs.

As a bonus it is “rebirth” I'm interested, how much in the US is CW QRP TRX widely used.
