The results of the SLP 2/2009 race, which took place on 7-8 March 2009, brought an interesting order of participants and showed high activity SWL radio amateurs in shortwave operation. Bill Smith (SWL ID W1-7897) took first place by a significant margin, scoring 21,279 points. Slovak participant Jozef Marcincák (OM3-0001) took second place with 6,944 points, followed by Gordon Hurrell (GM21056) with 5,243 points. Johan Heus (NL9723) with 3,465 points, Hans Lambregts (NL7403) with 3,120 points and Eelco Verkaik (NL10133) with 1,701 points are next in the order.
