During the weekend of March 2-3, 2019, the second stage of the SLP Competition 2019 took place, which again brought exciting battles between listeners of amateur radio stations from different countries. The participants had the opportunity to test their skills in monitoring and recording connections in difficult propagation conditions. The winner of this stage was Johan Heus (NL9723) with a score of 3800 points. Second place went to Alex Gorbunov (US-Q-73) with 3325 points, and third place went to Kees Schout (NL294) with 2784 points.
In the standings after two rounds, Alex Gorbunov maintained the lead with a total of 6790 points, while Johan Heus worked his way up to second place with an excellent performance. The SLP Competition thus continues at a very even pace, and the following rounds promise an even more exciting fight for the top places.
