The basic building block of success in RDXC is understanding the geographical dimensions of the Russian Federation. For European stations, including Slovak ones, Russia represents a huge number of multipliers in the form of various regions (Oblast). Distances range from a few hundred kilometers to thousands of kilometers into eastern Siberia and Kamchatka. This means that the operator must continuously adapt band selection and antenna direction according to current time and the progress of the ionospheric wave over the course of 24 hours.

-
SOAB-MIX-LP: One operator, all bands, MIX (CW/SSB), low power (up to 100 W).
-
SOAB-CW-HP / SOAB-CW-LP: One operator, all bands, only CW (high/low power).
-
SOAB-SSB-HP / SOAB-SSB-LP: One operator, all bands, only SSB (high/low power).
-
SOSB: One operator, one band (any power, MIX).
-
MOST: Multiple operators, one transmitter, all bands, MIX.

MO2T: More operators, two transmitters, all bands, MIX.
-
SWL: Listeners, all bands, MIX.
5. Contest code (Exchange)
-
Russian stations: RS(T) + two-letter area code (e.g., MA, SP, MO).
-
Other stations: RS(T) + serial number of the connection starting from 001.
-
Stations in the MO2T category use separate numbering for each transmitter.
6. Scoring
-
For a connection with your own country: 2 points.
-
For a connection with your own continent: 3 points.
-
For a connection with another continent: 5 points.
-
For each connection with a Russian station (regardless of the continent): 10 points.

7. Multipliers
Multipliers on each band are:
-
Each DXCC country (except Russia).
