The biggest surprise was the weather. Year after year, it was true that a lot of snow would fall on the eve of the meeting. Not this time - pleasant autumn weather. However, those who preferred high-altitude tourism or broadcasting from the hills know their stuff. The gale blew here only after the meeting and at half strength.
The number of visitors can only be estimated based on the occupancy of the parking lot. It was definitely emptier last year. Most of the events took place in Hutník 2, but the stock exchange and some stalls were in Hutník 1, which are connected by a corridor of perhaps a hundred meters.
There is a bar to the right of the door, which was decent pile-up. But visitors certainly don't go to the Tatras to buy beer for thirty crowns. Everywhere there was a lively discussion about topics that the average person would surely only shake their heads over. Antennas, DX-y, ends, tranceivers,....

The exchange was held as usual on Friday evening in the gymnasium. There were plenty of sellers and buyers. As if driven by electricity, radio amateurs walked from table to table and looked, bought, exchanged, sold. I was pleased to note that there are fewer computer components and even more communication technology and parts.
A little further on were the salesmen's rooms. In addition to them, several subjects also had presentations here. We sat down at one of the tables to which curious people came. Those who have not yet visited the portal welcomed the opportunity to "browse" on their laptop and read the articles.

Discussions lasted late into the night. After a thirty-six-hour journey, Oliver needed to get some sleep, so we didn't get to the meeting on Saturday before eleven o'clock. Just in time for Honzu OK2BNG's lecture on dipole antennas. She was followed by questions from the curious. Excellent lecture!

After lunch it was necessary to choose: VHF forum from 14.00, or DX forum from 15.00 (originally it was also supposed to be from 14.00). At the VKV forum, the most successful stations received their diplomas and a short evaluation was followed by a long discussion. It mainly concerned the new rules of the race and the allocation of quotas. I haven't been on the DX forum, it's not my area.
The organizer has prepared a collection of contributions for the lectures, which contains several stimulating constructions, especially in the field of SAT and KV antennas.
The only thing I regret is that the meeting is short and everything happens suddenly. Nevertheless, it was good, for which thanks to all who contributed to it.
