The island of Mauritius is located in the Indian Ocean, approximately 8000 km from Slovakia. I started the new year with a connection to this island.
During New Year's Eve, out of curiosity, I walked along the 80m band. He gave in the telegraph part of the band CQ DX Jacks, 3B8CF. It announced UP 1, I set split frequency and I called him. The connection was successful, I went to sleep satisfied.
