The Eta-Aquarids are among the more significant meteor showers for radio amateurs. The swarm will be active from April 19 to May 28, 2005 with a relatively wide maximum (approximately from May 3 to May 10, when the ZHR will be approximately 30), and whose peak falls on May 5 around 23 UT. Then we expect a maximum number of reflections (ZHR) of about 60 (40 to 85).
The most suitable time for connections in the SW-NW direction is 07-10 UT, in the E-W direction 04-09 UT and in the SE-NW direction it is 06-10 UTC. In the N-S direction, the best time for connections is not.
