On Sunday, May 12, 2019, the phonics part of the one-hour race, the OTC SARA Memorial, took place. About 60 stations participated in the spring SSB part. Diaries were sent by 40 competing stations. During the race, the club station OM9OT worked from Jedľové Kostolian, whose operator was Karol, OM5KP. Karol made a nice result, 56 connections (24 x 1 and 32 x 3). The operator of special stations OM83IHWC and OM2019IIHF, on the occasion of the 83rd Ice Hockey World Championship, was Jozef, OM5CD. In the event of a tie, the connection time with the club station OM9OT was decisive. Propagation conditions on the 80 m band were below average. The autumn telegraph part of the OTC SARA Memorial will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019, to which you are cordially invited! By letting your friends know about it, you will increase participation in the race. Logs from races in the usual form (date, time, mark, code sent, code received, points for QSO, total QSO and total points, affidavit, date and signature of the competitor) must be sent within 20 days after the race to the evaluator's address.
