-
One operator - one band, power up to 100 W (SOSB LP)
-
One operator – QRP (power up to 5 W, all bands only)
-
Multiple operators, one transmitter (MS) - all bands, power according to license conditions
-
Listeners (SWL)
The use of the DX-cluster is allowed in all categories. One operator can register in several categories a) - e) (e.g. at the same time SOAB, SO SB 20 m and SO SB 80 m). For the MS category, the following applies: the minimum working time on one band is 10 minutes. A quick change of band in order to obtain a multiplier is allowed (i.e. when connecting on band A, one can obtain a multiplier on band B and then return to band A).

Making connections:
-
OK/OL/OM stations establish connections only with stations outside OK/OL/OM.
-
Stations outside OK/OL/OM establish connections only with OK/OL/OM stations.
-
Connection to the same station is valid only once on each band.
Sending code:
-
OK/OL/OM: RST + district emblem (eg 599 BPZ).
-
Stations outside OK/OL/OM: RST + connection sequence number from 001.
Multipliers:
-
OK/OL/OM: prefixes according to WPX policy, separately on each band.
-
Stations outside OK/OL/OM: districts, separately on each band.
Points for QSO:
-
OK/OL/OM: EU = 1 point, non-EU = 3 points
-
EU stations: 1 point, non-EU stations: 3 points
Result: Total result = total number of points × total number of multipliers.
Listener Rules (SWL)
Listeners can count each station on each band only once.
For each properly recorded QSO (date, UTC, band, station mark, sent contest code and opponent station mark) they get:
-
1 point, if the station being listened to is on the same continent as the listener
-
3 points, if the station being listened to is on another continent
If both sent codes are recorded, it is two separate entries – each on its own line, with its own point evaluation and multiplier designation. So it is possible to get for one complete intercepted connection up to 4 points (3 + 1) a up to 2 multipliers.
SWL from the territory of OK and OM count points for all stations; other SWL only for stations OK/OL/OM.
SWL multipliers (OK/OM): prefixes of non-OK/OL/OM stations and districts of OK/OL/OM stations, regardless of band.
SWL multipliers (except OK/OM): OK/OL/OM districts, separately for each band.
