The legendary ORION series will soon have its successor. Ten-Tec announced for October 2006 ORION with serial number VII. This one TCVR bude prvým čistokrvným zariadením ovládateľným po sieti. Znamená to, že so zariadením budete môcť pracovať z hociktorého miesta na Zemi so širokopásmovým pripojením do Internetu ako remote station. ORION VII má na tento účel zabudovaný Ethernetový port s routerom.
