The lighthouse was put into operation for EME in the 23cm band. ON7UN, HB9BBD and ON4BCB realized in eleven months a fully automatic ON0EME beacon transmitting a signal exactly at 1296.000 MHz (GPS stabilized). The parabolic antenna has a diameter of 3.7m and the EIRP is 0.5MW.
WE ARE it starts broadcasting when the moon's elevation is above 10° and the antenna automatically rotates behind it. The broadcast cycle is: "de ON0EME" four times, then a ten second comma and twenty seconds of silence.
