The Perseids, the most famous meteor shower, look very promising this year. It is already possible to establish relatively successful FSK441 connections, while the maximum in Central Europe comes either on the morning of August 12 (around 7:00 UT) or in the evening from August 12 to 13, while the ZHR will be 80-100. The mother body of the Perseids is comet P/Swift-Tuttle, and if a very close approach occurs, the ZHR can be even higher, the increase in activity will be very sharp. The activity ends on August 20. Conditions for visual observers should also be very good. The most suitable times for connections in the axes: NE - SW 07 - 12 UT, NW - SE 20 - 02 UT.
