1. Organizer
Český radioklub, ČRK, ve spolupráci se Slovenským radioklubem, SARA, vyhlašuje první mezinárodní „OK-OM DX SSB contest 2014“.
2. Date of the race
Always the second full weekend in April. So 12:00 UTC 12/04 – 12:00 UTC 13/04/2014.
3. Category:
o SOAB – one operator – all bands – power up to 1500 W,
o SOAB – one operator – all bands – power up to 100 W,
o SOAB – one operator – all bands – performance QRP up to 5 W,
o SOSB - one operator - one band, (6 bands: 160, 80, 40, 20, 15, 10 m), categories: HP, LP, QRP,
o MOST – multiple operators, one transmitter,
o MO2T – multiple operators, two transmitters,
o SWL – listeners – all bands.
All bands 1.8 – 28 MHz out of bands WARC.

3.1 The participant can participate in all-band and multiple single-band categories at the same time. He can register in up to seven categories – all bands, 160 m, 80 m, 40 m, 20 m, 15 m, 10 m and get up to six diplomas.
3.2 Participants who take part in the race on only one band, but establish connections in the race on other bands as well, will also send the logbook from the other bands for checking.
3.3 Participants are divided into world, Europe, OK+OM.
4. General rules
4.1 Transmitters and receivers must be located in a circle with a maximum diameter of 500 m and all antennas must be connected to the device with cables - power supplies.
4.2 All categories allow free use of packets and WEB-clusters.
4.3 The use of the IP network for remote reception, including Internet radio stations for remote reception, is unsportsmanlike and is a reason for disqualification.
4.4 Self-spotting is not allowed. Arranging a connection using the telephone, the Internet and other similar means before and during the race is prohibited.
4.5 The use of other brands to maintain the working frequency on other bands, arranging skeds and arranging retuning to obtain multipliers is prohibited.
4.6 One operator can retune bands without restrictions - he can transmit only one signal at any time.
4.7 Stanice v kategorii jeden operátor je stanice obsluhovaná pouze jednou osobou, která vykonává vše spojené s provozem stanice, tj. provoz, logování, a práce se clusterem.

4.8 MOST stations are limited by the ten-minute rule. The starting time is determined by the moment of the first connection on the given band. Only one signal may be transmitted at any time. The exception is the signal on the next band, but only when establishing a connection with a new multiplier. This next band is also limited by the ten-minute rule and it is not allowed to call a challenge on this next band. If connections are established that contradict this provision, they may be listed in the logbook, but they will not be counted or penalized, they will be used for control and will be counted against the opposing station.
4.9 MO2T (Multi Op, two transmitters): Maximum of two transmitted signals on two different bands at any time. Each transmitter can be retuned from band to band eight times per hour (00-59 minutes of the hour). For example, a change from 40 m to 80 m - here the connection and back again represent two retunings. Both stations can make any connections.
5. Competition code:
5.1 Stations outside OK-OM: report + connection number starting from 001.
5.1.1 MOST can use numbering overall or on each band separately.
5.1.2 MO2T may use numbering either on each band separately or for each station separately. Connections for each station must be marked in the LOG.
5.2 OK + OM station: report + district emblem (three letters).
6. Points for connections:
6.1 OK + OM stations:
o QSO with own country – 2 points,
o QSO with another country on one's own continent – 3 points,
o QSO with another continent – 5 points.
Note: OK and OM are different countries DXCC, QSO OK-OM pays for 3 points.

6.2 Stations outside OK – OM:
o QSO with OK + OM station – 10 points,
o QSO with own country – 1 point,
o QSO with another country on one's own continent – 3 points,
o QSO with another continent – 5 points.
6.3 Station /MM does not pay for the multiplier, but it always pays for 5 points.
6.4 The SWL station must record one or both stations in connection, otherwise the same rules apply to them.
7. Duplicates:
7.1 A duplicate is a connection established repeatedly with the same station on the same band. If the first connection is valid, each subsequent connection is worth 0 points. If the first connection is invalid, the next connection is valid.
7.2 Duplicates are listed in the factory diary. It is not necessary to mark them.
8. Multipliers:
Two types of multipliers are used:
o each OK and OM district on each band separately,
o each country DXCC and WAE on each band separately.
9. Total score:
The total score is the product of the connection points multiplied by the sum of both types of multipliers (OK/OM districts + DXCC/WAE countries). The total score is calculated by the organizer after completion of computer processing.
10. Terms of reception of LOGs:
10.1 Logs are accepted only electronically in format Cabrillo.
10.2 LOGs are accepted only via the web interface at http://okomdx.crk.cz.
10.3 All times must be given in UTC.
10.4 All sent and received information must be recorded in the LOG.
10.5 V hlavičce elektronického logu nesmí chybět informace o kategorii, emailová a poštovní adresa účastníka.
10.6 Participants in the LowPower and QRP categories must describe their equipment and antennas - they will use comments/soapbox in Cabrillo.
10.7 If, for unidentifiable reasons, the diary cannot be sent via the web interface, it will be sent to the address "okomdx at crk.cz".
11. Diaries
11.1 Diaries must be delivered to the organizer within 14 days after the end of the race.
11.2 The successful delivery of the diary is immediately confirmed on the website, at the same time a confirmation email is sent to the address indicated in the CABRILLO header of the file.
12. Diplomas and plaques:
12.1 The winners of the basic categories will receive the plaque if there is a sponsor for the given category. One station can receive a maximum of one plaque in a given year, for the category in which it received the most points.
12.2 All participants can download the electronic diploma in pdf format. Diplomas will be downloadable for all participants and all locations. Paper diplomas will not be sent out.
