Result list of the 5th stage of SLP 2009

After the fifth round of the Short Listening Period (SLP) 2009, which took place on July 11-12, 2009, the results list provides a clear mirror of the current order and form of the participants. The fifth stage brought significant points for the round winner Vladimir Ignatov (SWL ID R3A-847), who scored 64,272 points and secured the leading position in the running order of the competition. Jozef Marcincák (OM3-0001) took second place in this round with 33,462 points, Gosse Helmus (NL13181) finished third with 18,988 points. He was closely followed by Bill Smith (W1-7897) with 18,725 points.

The fifth stage once again confirmed the international nature of the competition, when representatives from Russia, Slovakia, the Netherlands, the USA, Belgium and Great Britain appeared in the top ten. Paul Lemeire (ONL3058), Hans Lambregts (NL7403), Marc Stinkens (ONL4638), Gordon Hurrell (GM21056) and Johan Heus (NL9723) also made the top ten.

From the point of view of the standings after five rounds, R3A-847 leads with a total of 136,488 points. OM3-0001 remains in second place with 74,968 points, and W1-7897 is in third place with 59,402 points. The results reflect not only performance in an individual round, but also consistency across SLP stages.
