The race is held annually in honor of the anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising. Connections are established between OM and OK stations, as well as with Slovaks and Czechs who are abroad. Other foreign stations can also participate in the competition. Races are listed for individuals, club stations can only be served by one operator. The organizer of the race is the Vrútky radio club, OM3KFV. Slovaks and Czechs abroad enter the zip code and district emblem of the place they come from in the competition code.

- Date: Third Sunday in August
- Stages: Two one-hour stages, the first from 06.00 to 06.59 and the second from 07.00 to 07.59 local time
- Operation: CW, SSB
- Band: 3520-3560 KHz CW and 3700-3770 kHz SSB
- Categories: There are 6 categories in the race: A1- QRO,CW A2- QRO, SSB A3- QRO, MIX B1- QRP,CW B2- QRP, SSB B3- QRP, MIX
The power of QRO is according to the permit conditions, QRP maximum 10W power input or 5W power. Listeners (category P) can also participate under normal conditions - Contest code: In the first stage: RST (RS), number QSO from 001, postal code QTH and initial letters of the operator's name and surname, e.g. 579 001 03861 JM (Jožko Motyčka from Vrútok)
In the second stage: RST (RS), QSO number (which continues from the first stage), district code and the last two digits of the operator's year, e.g. 559 037 MAR 43 (Martin district, operator year 1943)
Stations that work /p in field conditions give the PSC of the nearest village or settlement. * Other foreign stations give only RST and QSO number, e.g. 579 001 - Scoring: 5 points for QSOs with OM, OK, Slovaks and Czechs abroad

Icom IC-718 KV transceiver Result: The sum of QSO points from both stages is multiplied by the sum of the multipliers from both stages. In categories A3 and B3, 2 connections can be established with the same station in each stage, one on CW and one on SSB. However, the time difference between such QSOs must be at least 10 minutes. Each such connection is worth 5 points. However, the multipliers are calculated only once in each stage, regardless of the method of broadcasting (CW, SSB)

- Evaluation: At a meeting of Slovak radio amateurs (usually in November in the Tatras) and in the magazine Radiožurnál. Stations broadcasting in /p field conditions will be evaluated separately. However, they must list their QTH fields on the front page of the journal
- Diplomas: All race participants who send a competition diary for evaluation
- Prizes: Winner of each category (depends on the minimum number of 5 participants)
