I. Name and seat
The name of the civil association is: K120.
The name of the association in English is: K120.
The civic association is an organization created on a voluntary basis by members of the association, whose interest is the development of mutual communication, technical study and self-education of license holders to operate amateur radio broadcasting stations.
The civic association is an independent organization with legal personality, which develops its activities in accordance with the Constitution of the Slovak Republic and applicable laws.
The seat of the association is Krátka ul. 4/386, 059 39 Šuňava.

II. Goals
The main goal of the association is to support the development of amateur radio station operators, which mainly includes:
- Development of amateur traffic on the frequencies allocated for this service
- Through constant information activities, inform the general public about amateur service, computer technology and knowledge from electrical engineering
- Organization of national competitions
III. Membership
Membership is voluntary. Any natural or legal person who agrees to the association's statutes can be a member. Proof of membership is an application form and a valid association card.
Membership in the association ceases upon delivery of a member's written notice of withdrawal from the association or expulsion from the association with the consent of a two-thirds majority of its members.
IV. Rights and obligations of members
Members are obliged to comply with the association's statutes, above all to fully accept point II. these statutes and try to adapt their actions accordingly. Other duties of a member of the association include:
- To participate in the activities of the association
- Protect the property of the association
- Payment of membership fees in the amount determined by the Presidency
A member of the association has the right to:
- To participate in the deliberations of the Presidency as long as his person is being discussed
- Comment on the activities of the association's bodies
- Submit proposals to improve the activity of the association
- To vote and be elected to the bodies of the association
V. Bodies of the association
The bodies of the association are: Member meeting and Presidency

VI. Membership meeting
The membership meeting is the highest body of the association. The membership meeting is convened by the presidency at least once a year. An extraordinary meeting of the general assembly will be held if more than 1/3 (in other words: one third) of the association's members request it.
The members' meeting decides on the following fundamental issues of the association's activities:
- Adopts and amends the association's Statutes, the association's budget for the calendar year and other regulations and directives issued by the association
- Elects and dismisses members of the Presidency
- It decides on matters of strategic importance
- about the dissolution of the association and the appointment of liquidators
The consent of 3/4 (in other words: three quarters) of the members of the association is required to cancel the association
VII. Presidency
The Presidency is the management and statutory body of the association. It consists of 3 (in words: three) members, unless the Members' Meeting decides otherwise. The members of the presidency are elected by the Members' Meeting for a period of 2 (in other words: two) years. As a rule, it consists of the president and two vice-presidents of the association.
Presidency:
- It approves the activity plan for the calendar year, the activity and management report for the past year
- It decides on the exclusion of members who act in violation of the association's statutes
- Decides on the admission of new members
- It prepares an annual report on the association's activities, a budget proposal and a report on the management of the association
- It decides on all matters of the association that, according to the statutes, do not fall under the jurisdiction of the Members' Meeting
The meeting of the Presidium is convened by the chairman at least once a year at the request of the majority of the members of the presidium.
The president and vice-president of the association represent and act on behalf of the association in the entire scope of competence with the decisions of the association's bodies. The consent of at least two members of the Presidency is required for the validity of a legal act.

IX. Management principles
The assets of the association consist of financial and non-financial resources obtained from subsidies, donations, grants, voluntary membership contributions, income from own activities and other income and revenues.
The property and income of the association can be used to achieve the goals of the association and to ensure its own activity.
The Presidency approves and determines the disposition and use of financial and non-financial resources as well as the handling of acquired property.
X. Final Provisions
The draft statutes were discussed and approved by the Members' Meeting on February 2, 2005. The association is established by registration with the Ministry of the Interior, the statutes become effective on the day of registration.
