CQ World Wide CW contest patrí medzi najprestížnejšie a najväčšie rádioamatérske súťaže na svete. Koná sa každoročne v posledný novembrový víkend a je zameraný na telegrafiu (CW – Continuous Wave). Cieľom súťaže je nadviazať čo najviac spojení s rôznymi krajinami a zónami DXCC on all shortwave bands from 160 to 10 meters. Radio amateurs from all over the world compete as individuals or teams in categories based on performance and number of operators.
CQ WW CW is known for its tremendous activity on the bands - thousands of stations from all over the world can be picked up in 48 hours. The competition brings a unique opportunity to test your equipment, skills in CW and get rare countries for diplomas or DXCC. It is a real feast for all lovers of telegraphy and DX connections.
