Results of the 1st stage of SLP 2015

The first stage of SLP 2015, which took place on January 31 and February 1, brought interesting competition between listeners SWL from Slovakia, the Czech Republic and other European countries. The stage was characterized by good conditions on the bands and active participation, while the best results were achieved by experienced listeners with a proven reception technique and accurate recording of connections.

The stage itself was won by Konstantin Vakhonin, RU4SS, with a score of 22,154 points. The second place was taken by Jozef Marcincak, OM3-0001, with 18,100 points, who once again confirmed his stable performance. Third place went to Davor Kordic, 9A4KJ, with 5,830 points, who gained a significant number of points with his persistence and consistent tracking of bands.

Other successful participants included Johan Heus, NL9723, with 4,212 points, followed by Helmut Grund, DE2HUG, with 4,067 points, and Marc Stinkens, ONL4638, with 3,264 points. Also interesting are the results of Alex Gorbunov, US-Q-73, with 2,813 points, and Dusan Hanak, OK2-9329, with 2,214 points, who managed to pick up numerous stations despite competition from experienced SWLs.

Do prvej desiatky sa dostali ešte Kees Schout, NL294, s 1 705 bodmi, a Antonio M. Mendoza, EA3248URE, s 1 656 bodmi. Z celkového pohľadu sa etapa ukázala ako vhodná pre testovanie prijímacích schopností a vytrvalosti, pričom aj účastníci mimo elitnej skupiny získali cenné skúsenosti a zlepšili svoje logovanie.

The provisional ranking of the SLP Competition 2015 after the first stage reflects the clear dominance of RU4SS and OM3-0001, who were placed in the leading positions for the next stages of the competition.
