28 MHz took place on December 13 and 14, 2014 SWL contest, ktorý opäť prilákal množstvo krátkovlnných nadšencov z celého sveta. Súťažilo sa v dvoch kategóriách – CW a Phone – pričom súťažiaci mali možnosť overiť svoje schopnosti v zachytávaní a logovaní signálov na pásme 28 MHz.
The CW category was dominated by Henk Mulder (PA1555), who scored a respectable 941 points, received 81 DXCC entities and 55 states or provinces, giving it a total score of 127,976 points. Second place went to Konstantin Vakhonin (RU4SS) with 696 points, 78 DXCCs and a score of 64,728. Third place went to Valery Bobrov (R3A-770506) who scored 371 points and 49 DXCCs for a score of 20,034. Significant positions were also secured by Wolfgang Geller (DL-P01-17291) and Jean-Marie Monplot (FE9780/56).
In the Phone category, Jorge Rodriguez (CX021-swl) took the lead with 922 points and received signals from 75 DXCC entities and 54 states/provinces, giving him a total score of 118,938. Close behind was Johan Heus (NL9723) with 910 points and a score of 94,640. Allen Willie was in third place (VO1-001-swl) with 787 points and 57 DXCC, bringing his score to 84,209 points. Other significant results were recorded by Sjuk Veenstra (NL6904), Helmut Grund (DE2HUG), Ad Hilders (NL9745), Valery Bobrov (R3A-770506) and Jean-Marie Monplot (FE9780/56).
