Results of the 3rd stage of SLP 2015

The third stage of the SLP 2015 competition was held on 28-29 March and again brought interesting results among shortwave listeners (SWL).

The third stage itself was dominated by Konstantin Vakhonin (RU4SS), who scored a brilliant 47,850 points, confirming his leading position in the standings of the competition. Jozef Marcincák (OM3-0001) finished second with 34,320 points, followed by Sjuk Veenstra (NL6904) with 27,720 points.

In addition to the aforementioned, Henk Mulder (PA1555, 18,421 points), Johan Heus (NL9723, 11,400 points), Marcel Weerwag (NL13662, 9,856 points), Eugene Syromjtnikov (UR3QTN, 7,210 points), Davor Kordić (9A4KJ, 6,832 points), Marc Stinkens also placed in the top ten. (ONL4638, 6,466 points) and Helmut Grund (DE2HUG, 5,886 points).

A more detailed analysis of the current standings of the SLP 2015 competition shows that RU4SS, which also won the third stage, has a total of 70,004 points after three rounds, thereby consolidating its position as the leader. In second place is OM3-0001 with 64,027 points and third is NL6904 with 39,257 points. Interestingly, some entrants, such as PA1555, only improved significantly in the third stage, moving up the overall ranking - PA1555 is now fourth with 34,606 points.

At the bottom of the interim leaderboard are those who only participated partially, such as UR3QTN, who scored 7,210 points in only the third stage, or F70043 with 1,350 points. Such results show the diversity of participants, from regular contestants to casual listeners.

Overall, the third stage of SLP 2015 confirmed the high level of competition and the stability of the leadership positions, while allowing smaller stations and newcomers to gain valuable experience and points. The following stages will be decisive for the final positions, with the leaders expected to hold their positions, but minor changes in the order are certainly possible.
