Results of the 8th stage of SLP 2014

The October 8th stage of the SLP 2014 brought extremely balanced performances in the first three, but at the same time significant differences between the front and the middle of the table. The best performance was clearly demonstrated by Jozef OM3-0001, who won 36640 points and dominated not only the number of valid connections, but also stable activity throughout the duration of the stage. His lead over the second place was significant, which confirms excellent preparation and efficient processing of the diary.

Sjuk NL6904 finished in second place with an excellent performance of 29125 points. Although his result was lower than in the stronger stages of the year, it still confirmed his inclusion among the stable leaders of SLP. Third place was taken by Henk PA1555 with a score of 28160 points. Henk managed to maintain a high standard in this stage as well, while his result marked the best performance of those who did not start in all stages this season.

The middle of the table was dominated by Johan NL9723 with 13938 points, followed by Dušan OK2-9329 – his 13275 points represented the best stage of the year, which moved him significantly up in the final ranking. Excellent stable performance was also demonstrated by Marc ONL4638, who again confirmed his technical precision with 13005 points. In the second half of the results, Helmut DE2HUG (11234) and also Alex US-Q-73 (9840) impressed, who did quality work despite the lower activity in the previous stages. Václav OKL007 and Aleksandr US-Q-2115 also made it into the top ten.

Analysis of the overall results of the SLP Competition 2014

R3A-847 dominated the year-long ranking with a huge total of 192,059 points thanks to three extremely strong stages, the most valuable of which exceeded 99,000 points. Despite not participating in the second half of the season, his lead was enough for a comfortable victory.

The second place was taken by Jozef OM3-0001 with 124947 points. Although his results were uneven, three strong stages - especially the sixth and eighth - secured him a solid position in the top three.

Sjuk NL6904 finished in third place with 99270 points. Consistently high performances, especially in the third and eighth stages, ensured him a convincing lead over other competitors.

The fourth place belongs to Henk PA1555, who made full use of the three stages and confirmed his high level with 64300 points. He was followed by Marc ONL4638 with 46902 points, who was one of the few to complete most stages of the season.

In the second half of the order, Helmut DE2HUG (30952), Dušan OK2-9329 (20394) and 9A4KJ (18548) were particularly interesting, who achieved quality results even with a smaller number of starts. The remaining participants mostly won points in individual stages, while their participation contributed to the overall variety and competition in SLP 2014.
