Results of SLP 2/2005

The third stage of the Short Listening Period Competition 2005, which took place on March 26 and 27, brought dramatic battles and interesting changes in the overall ranking. Slovak student Jozef Marcinčák (OM3-0001) consolidated his position among the world's best by gaining 1972 points and occupying first place in this stage.

After three stages, the Italian took the lead in the overall standings of the SLP Competition 2005 SWL Gabriele Antonelli (I5-1990) with an impressive total of 2558 points. Marcinčák holds the excellent second place with 2252 points and shows excellent consistency in all three rounds. The third position belongs to Swedish listener Lars Aström (SM7-8190) with 1968 points.

The competition is a great success, with listeners from all over Europe taking part in it - from the Netherlands to Italy to Russia. Each stage brings new challenges and opportunities to gain valuable points in the overall ranking. Slovakia has reason to be proud, as our representatives manage to achieve excellent results in international competition. The next stages will certainly bring even more tension in the fight for overall victory.
