
AH3D - Johnston island: the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved a plan to permanently remove chemical weapons from Johnston Island, according to Bernie McClenny W3UR, editor of The Daily DX. After their removal, the administration is also expected to be abolished soon and the transition under the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service soon. It means that subsequent expeditions will have a much harder time. The operation of the club station KJ6BZ will also end. Martti Laine OH2BH, Pertti Simovaara OH2PM and Bernie McClenny W3UR were given special permission to visit and document it prior to demolition. Their goal will therefore be to provide a chance for connection mainly to Europeans, on the lower bands and WARC-oh, but also 6m a RTTY. All-band CW, SSB and RTTY operation is planned for the period from January 27 to February 4. The expedition will use proven equipment FT-857 a FT-897 with different end stages, a wide range of antennas: TH11, 3el. 10m, duobander on 12 and 17m plus various antennas for the lower bands. 9L – Sierra Leone: Zbig SP7BTB is back in Sierra Leone from where he broadcasts under the brand name 9L1BTB. In the evening it appears around 1828-1831 kHz (after 21:30 UTC). Unfortunately, its operation depends on the supply of current. It uses an IC-706 and a dipole on 13m, on 6m it has a 5 element yagi .
C6 – Bahamas: at the time you are reading these lines, Bill KM1E is already back in the Bahamas, from where he will be broadcasting under the C6AGN brand until March 4 on bands from 160 to 6m. QSL via W1DIG.
EI - Ireland: Ingo DH5ST will be in Ireland from January 5th to April 5th. He wants to broadcast on CW/SSB from 80 to 10m + 6m on the brand EI/DH5ST/p also from some islands belonging to the EU-121 group. QSL via bureau on DH5ST.
C6 – Bahamas: at the time you are reading these lines, Bill KM1E is already back in the Bahamas, from where he will be broadcasting under the C6AGN brand until March 4 on bands from 160 to 6m. QSL via W1DIG.

J3 – Grenada: between February 1 and 13, Grenada should be visited by Manfred DJ7RJ. It should broadcast from 160 to 6m CW/SSB under the brand J3/DJ7RJ.
CE – Chile: Guillermo XQ3SA, Axel CE3AFC, Hector CE3VII and Felipe CE3SAG will be active as XR6M from Mocha Island (SA-061) between February 5th and 9th. 9G - Ghana: Arno DL1CW a Andz DL3GA plánujú vysielať z Ghany v období 5.-18.februára. Volačky by mali byť 9G5AP (DL1CW) a 9G3GA (DL3GA). Venovať sa budú 80 až 10m, prípadne aj 6m najmä CW, RTTY a okrajovo SSB. Plánujú sa zúčastniť aj WPX RTTY a ARRL DX CW contestov.

PJ - Sint Maarten: Klaus DJ4SO will broadcast from 40 to 6m (in the case of the possibility of installing an antenna at the hotel also on 160 and 80m) CW/SSB/RTTY under the PJ6/DJ4SO mark from the island of Saba (NA-145) between February 18 and March 12. JW – Svalbard: SM0BSO, SM0LQB and SM1TDE plan to broadcast from this island between 24 February and 1 March from club station JW5E, located in Longyearbyen (EU-026). On the 160 to 2m CW/SSB/RTTY bands as well as other digital modes, look for the following tags: JW/SM0BSO, JW/SM0LQB and JW/SM1TDE. One station is intended for 6m and satellites (AO-7, AO-10, UO-14, FO-20 and FO-29). QSL to home brands, via bureau or direct.
