A1 Contest / Marconi Memorial Contest 2009
The new VHF season starts this weekend, 7.-8.November 2009, when the A1 Contest takes place / Marconi Memorial Contest. Contest lasts from 14.00 do 14.00UT. It competes only with CW operation in categories: 144 MHz – Single, 144 MHz – Multi. In the following, the General Terms and Conditions of VHF Races and Competitions apply. Competition code: RS(T) + serial number of the connection from 001 + WW locator. One kilometer of bridged distance is equal to 1 that. The connection to the station in its own small locator square is counted 1 that. The result is determined by the sum of the points for the connections.
The competition diary is sent exclusively in electronic form in EDI format. It must be sent no later than the tenth day after the race via the web interface on the website vkv.szr.sk. In exceptional cases, it is possible to send the diary by e-mail to vkvlogy@pobox.sk or on a floppy disk to the address: Ing. Pavol Zajac, OM5CM, Meadows 1111/12, 95201 Sparrows.
