AO-27, one of the most popular LEO FM satellites, is back in operation. On January 14, the management team managed to successfully upload the flight software after long-term problems. The satellite is transmitting the correct telemetry and the analog transponder has also been switched on.

When orbiting from south to north, the satellite turns on at approximately 30 degrees north latitude. For the first twenty seconds, telemetry data is transmitted, then the transponder is in operation for five minutes, and the flyby is finished with a minute of telemetry. After that, the satellite goes silent again.
It's not much, but the AO-27 is already 13 years old and requires some compromises to keep the transponder working. Uplink frequency: 145.850 MHz, downlink: 436.797 MHz.
