On Sunday, December 28, 2003, the annual meeting of radio amateurs was held in Olomouc. Many people participated in its preparation. I should especially mention RK OK2KWX. This is the third time I have been to this meeting... I think that the content of the whole day's program, including the exchange, raffle and sitting at the local buffet, is a perfect job of people who are interested in this event.
Here you not only meet people you only know from the band, but also those you saw last year, the year before... it's a pleasant end of the year - to sit with people and, above all, have fun.
From my point of view, this year's meeting took place without any problems. There was a snack bar on the ground floor and a stock exchange on the first floor. All kinds of things were discussed in the hall. Jarda OK2KK took up residence in the rear, demonstrating the operation of ECHOLINK. Here, interested parties learned how and what works, and Jarda also demonstrated the connection with the world.
And what happened next? The aforementioned raffle was also held. There were plenty of prizes, some people liked the win, some didn't, he gave it to someone who could use it.
What to add in conclusion? I hope this tradition will continue. Thank you to everyone who participated in the meeting, for a pleasant day.
