The ST Telecommunications Office (TÚ SR) allows holders of radio amateur licenses to apply for experimental operation in the 5 MHz band. TÚ SR issued the first two permits for OM1II and OM3CU based on the request. Permits are valid for one year. The section 5.2585 – 5.2615 MHz with a power of 100 W ERP is allowed. The entire band is currently not allowed, as it is used by law enforcement agencies. Interested parties can apply for a permit on the prescribed form www.teleoff.gov.sk/data/files/10872.rtf. The application must be accompanied by a stamp worth 3 euros and proof of payment of the payment in the amount of 3.31 euros.
