F4DXV satellite records
Jerome LeCuyer, F4DXV, is a satellite enthusiast, which regularly attempts the longest possible connections via amateur radio satellites. He regularly goes to elevations from where it is possible to work via satellites even at a very low elevation. By hooking up with Casey Tucker, KI7UNJ, via the RS-44 satellite they managed to move the distance of a possible connection to 8402 kilometers. This beat the previous entries of W5CBF and DL4EA, which had value 8357 kilometers.
Also on the AO-27 satellite, F4DXV achieved a record entry by connecting with Michael Styne, K2MTS. The distance between them was 5904 kilometers.
