On board there is a radio amateur FM transponder with an uplink on 145.850 MHz and a downlink on 436.795 MHz.
Together with SO-35, UO-14 (both now defunct) belongs to LEO satellites also available with simple equipment - FM duobander and small antennas. The transponder is switched on occasionally.
